'Massada - 50 Years Anniversary Tour'The anniversary tour comes to Podium Mozaïek!
Massada has a special place in the Dutch music scene. In the 1970s, founder Johnny Manuhutu laid the foundation of the band, which consists mostly out of musicians with a Moluccan background. This being 50 years ago should of course be celebrated with an anniversary tour.
Massada has always featured exceptionally talented percussionists throughout their musical career. Drums and the accompanying strong rhythmic accent they bring to their music plays a very important role in Massada's own work.
The group is admired by many for their dynamic appearance and high energy during live performances. Massada's current percussion lineup is still considered to be one of the best in the Netherlands.
