By default DREAM" is a unique Fara Tekan performance that will take you on a transcendent journey. Fara Tekan, a contemporary dance form that transcends the boundaries of the physical, was created by performing artists Sara Behrad and Farhad Foroutanian. Inspired by the wisdom of Maulana Jalaluddin Rumi and rooted in Persian mysticism, this performance takes the dancer and the audience to a higher level of awareness and unity in existence.

Each Fara Tekan performance, including "By default DREAM", follows the waves and energy in space. The aim is to elevate the mind to a higher frequency and the experience of oneness. This unique and unpredictable performance is supported by live music by a masterful Persian Nay player and Daf musician, as well as audio-visual elements that stimulate the senses. 

Fara Tekan is dedicated to the consciousness and connectedness of humanity. Although the first presentation of Fara Tekan took place in Iran in 2017, despite the dance ban, two underground editions were performed for select audiences in 2018. Unfortunately, they had to stop their activities and leave Iran in the winter of 2018. Since 2019, they have been staying in the Netherlands.
