A Dutch Greek storyteller looks on all sides of displacement, maybe the in between isn’t that bad?

A personal story about migration, warm hands, wealth, and the in-between space - the intermediate space in which many bicultural individuals find themselves. A space that always contains a longing and in which you are always on the move, but it seems as if you never arrive. But... is it all doom and gloom? Soula Notos takes you on an intimate and critical exploration of gurbet (displacement) with humor, movement, and temperament. Maybe, just maybe, the in-between space is not so bad after all.

Soula Notos is a theater maker, comedian, actress, and storyteller. Her solo "Who are you when no one is looking?" was performed at festivals in London, Oslo, Prague, Amsterdam, Utrecht, and at Oerol and Festival Boulevard. She is a regular storyteller and host at Mezrab. She organizes and presents the bimonthly Soula's Storytelling Nights at Theater Kikker in Utrecht. For more information, see www.soula.nl
