Amsterdam Turkish Folk Music Choir gives a concert with a connecting message. Together with Hans Benz (singer/guitarist), Amsterdam Turkish Folk Music Choir brings a musical program focusing on the universal language of music. Turkish folk music has deep roots and enormous diversity, with influences from Central Asia, the Middle East, the Balkans and even the Caucasus.

The choir, led by conductor Yaşam Hancılar, brings this rich musical heritage to life and invites the audience to discover its deep sounds and multifaceted rhythms. The orchestra , led by Burak Dolutaş, adds an extra layer of depth and harmony to the performance.

Together with Dutch musician Hans Benz, the choir bridges cultures. Hans Benz plays Jazzy, pop-like instrumental music by Tommy Emmanuel and Chet Atkins. He has devoted himself to acoustic finger-style guitar music.
