About the opening
Leave it to our creative directors to start a storytelling festival about addiction… Raphael Rodan and Sahand Sahebdivani will open The Amsterdam Storytelling Festival 2019 with some short sketches and stories about the theme. That will bring all of us in the right mood for the amazing opening show. James Rowland - one of the big hits during this year’s Edinburgh Fringe Festival - comes to Amsterdam.

**About the show: **
Five years ago, James met the love of his life. Two years later, they broke up. This is James’s story of falling in love and landing broken hearted and everything in between. It’s also about him being Best Man of Honour at Sarah and Emma’s wedding. And it’s the story of a quest: to find the right words to make sense of love. A hilarious, heart-lifting story of romance and despair.
