Theater

The Mah Ensemble plays under the direction of Majid Derakhshani (*Born 1957 Sangesar, Iran). He is a world-renowned composer and TAR player, valued for his innovative approach to traditional Persian music. He leads the MAH ensemble, which deals with Persian music, its past, present and future. He founded the ensemble in 2006 with the intention of promoting Persian music. The musicians of the ensemble have earned a large audience with successful performances in most major cities in Iran and during tours in Europe (2013, 2018, 2019, 2023) and Australia (2014). A particular concern of the group is the promotion and support of young Persian female singers.
