PEOPLE MOVE | Movement Practice by Sur Mundo Ensemble (Dutch below)

The idea behind the CLUB BOHEMIA event is to introduce Amsterdam audience to the dancetheater work of the Sur Mundo Ensemble| Gabriela Zuarez. During PEOPLE MOVE practice, people can experience what the hybrid dance language of Sur Mundo Ensemble is and how tango represents an international dance world. Participant can register for the subsequent practice, in which they can introduce themselves for participation in future theater dance music productions by the ensemble.

PEOPLE MOVE practice is about hybrid dance forms, movement and tango dance.

PEOPLE MOVE also becomes a kind of introductory lesson between the people and the dance leader and the artists of the ensemble.

There is no age limit to participate and it is open to all levels. So no specific dance experience is required to apply to the practice. However, it is important that if you want to participate, understand that the class only lasts one hour and that you can come prepared (punctual, with the correct dance clothes and do a short warm-up at home before the class)

CLUB BOHEMIA |  Lesproject door Sur Mundo Ensemble

Het idee achter het CLUB BOHEMIA-evenement is: Amsterdammers kennis laten maken met het theaterwerk van het Sur Mundo Ensemble. Tijdens PEOPLE MOVE lesproject kunnen mensen in praktijk ervaren wat de hybride danstaal van Sur Mundo Ensemble is en op welke wijze de tango een danswereld vertegenwoordigt die internationaal is. Daarnaast kunnen zij zich aanmelden voor de daaropvolgende workshop, waarin zij zich kunnen voorbereiden op participatie in toekomstige theaterdansmuziek-producties van het ensemble.

PEOPLE MOVE lesproject gaat over hybride dansvormen, beweging en tangodans.
PEOPLE MOVE wordt ook een soort van kennismakingsles tussen de mensen en de dansleider en de artiesten.

Er is geen leeftijdsgrens om te deelnemen en staat ook open voor alle niveaus. Er is dus geen specifieke danservaring vereist om de lesproject toe te passen. Het is echter belangrijk dat als je wilt deelnemen, begrijpt dat de les slechts één uur duurt en dat je op voorbereid kan komen (punctueel, met de juiste danskleding en doe thuis een korte warming-up voor de les)
